Is “Unlimited” really unlimited? No **total cap**, with fair-use protection: 100,000 calls/day · 600/min (normal usage never comes close). It keeps a few abnormal clients from slowing everyone down. Can I try it? Yes. The 5 free data endpoints need no key (anonymous access is 5/min; solve one PoW challenge to get 60/min). Buyout pack or Unlimited? **One-off bulk runs** (backtests, data loading, history backfill) → buyout packs (they never expire); **continuous heavy use** (daily strategies, monitoring) → the Unlimited subscription.
