MCP on China agent platforms
One URL: https://api.ashareapi.com/mcp — paste it into the platform MCP or plugin settings. Free tools (quote / K-line / hot list / market overview / breadth) need no key.
Once configured, just ask — the agent fetches real data instead of guessing:
- What is the price of 太极实业 (600667) right now?
- Which sectors gained the most in the last 5 sessions?
- What did institutions buy on the top-trader boards today?

Where to put it
Wording differs per platform, but it is always: find the MCP / plugin entry → paste the URL → save, then attach it to an agent. The five below were checked by reading each platform’s official docs (2026-09-21); platforms whose docs we could not read (e.g. Tencent Yuanbao) are deliberately not listed. Local clients (Cursor, Claude Code, WorkBuddy, CodeBuddy…) use the same shape and are not repeated here — see the client list on the MCP page.
Console → MCP management → Create MCP service → install method http (connect an existing remote MCP server) → paste the URL. ⚠️ The docs do not mention custom request headers → free tools work; for paid tools use a client from the header-capable row below

- The free quota is counted per calling source (anonymous 5/min; up to 60/min after solving one PoW challenge). Many users behind one egress IP on a platform hit the limit quickly.
- The tool list is synced when you save the config — after we add tools, re-save or refresh to see them.

Yes. Free tools (quote / K-line / hot list / market overview / breadth) need no key; the other 19 tools (order book, full quote profile, financials, money flow, top-trader boards, sector valuation, macro, convertible bonds, factor screening…) require one.
Per anonymous calling source: 5/min, up to 60/min after solving one PoW challenge. Shared egress IPs hit it fast — a key is recommended.
Any platform that supports remote MCP with custom request headers: Tencent Cloud Agent Platform, Tencent Yuanqi, Volcengine Ark (Responses API), WorkBuddy / CodeBuddy, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and more. Alibaba Cloud Bailian and Coze can connect too, but their docs do not document custom headers — free tools only there.
