No total cap, with fair-use protection: 100,000 calls/day · 600/min (normal usage never comes close). It keeps a few abnormal clients from slowing everyone down.
Yes. The 5 free data endpoints need no key (anonymous access is 5/min; solve one PoW challenge to get 60/min).
One-off bulk runs (backtests, data loading, history backfill) → buyout packs (they never expire); continuous heavy use (daily strategies, monitoring) → the Unlimited subscription.
To stop resale. Normal use (switching networks, dynamic IPs) rarely trips it; if it does, contact us and we reset it.
